Wow, what a day!
The day started with a lovely breakfast and then they were straight into activities. Team Arctic Assassins were on the climbing wall first and they absolutely demolished it – super proud lions! Team Beast from the South East started with team games and pool kayak – what a lot of fun! Team Cool Cucumbers were first on the ski slope and showed such determination and skill – well done! Team Diving Dolphins started their day on the team ropes and had great teamwork and encouragement – excellent!
Lunchtime came and they gobbled down their curry and rice – yummy – before heading to the gift shop.
The afternoon consisted of the second lot of activities: Team Arctic Assassins taking part in team games and pool kayak; Team Beast from the South East were on the climbing wall; Team Cool Cucumber had Team ropes and high ropes; Team Diving Dolphins were on the ski slope.
Suitably tired and hungry, they entered the dining room to enjoy their macaroni cheese dinner.
As the night was still young, the children headed off to get cosy with a hot chocolate and a biscuit to watch one of the greatest films about courage, challenge and perseverance: Eddie the Eagle (after being fooled that they were going to be doing a SPaG test).
Theyāll definitely all be sleeping well tonight!
