Welcome to Lordswood School, a school at the heart of the Lordswood community and a proud member of the Griffin Schools Trust.

Our school motto, ‘Learning without Limits’, sits at the centre of our vision. It means holding high expectations for every child to achieve by supporting them to make excellent progress across their learning. We take the time to get to know each child as an individual, offering a range of experiences and lessons so that every child feels a sense of belonging. This breadth of experience builds their confidence and prepares them well for the next step in their educational journey.

Pastoral care is at the heart of our school. We are committed to educating the whole child, in the classroom and beyond, so that every pupil feels safe, supported and known. Pupil voice plays a key part in shaping our school. Our wonderful, dedicated staff team works closely with families to support each child’s wellbeing and development every step of the way.

We are proud to be rated Outstanding by Ofsted, a reflection of the hard work and commitment of our whole school community.

As part of the Griffin Schools Trust, we share in the three pillars that underpin all Griffin schools: proud traditions, wide horizons and high achievement. We work alongside Saxon Way and Kingfisher Primary Schools as part of our local collegiate and take part in shared traditions such as the Griffin Arts Festival, Sport Festival and Science Symposium.

We are very proud of our pupils and all they achieve.

We would love for you to come and visit us and see for yourself what makes Lordswood such a special place to learn.
