Year 5 have had an amazing morning visiting Lordswood library. They saw a fantastic performance of ‘The Renegades: Famous Women You’ve Never Heard Of’ which was a solo performance from award winning poet and theatre maker, Nina Telegina.
They learnt about French sword fighting, opera singing, women who burned down a convent, a female pirate who established an alternative government, a rebel queen who defeated the British Empire and an epic Jamaican who defied time. They loved it!
