Year 3 have been been reading all about wolves in English. This trip helped them to learn more about these creatures.
In the morning, a keeper gave them a talk all about their wolf pack. The children looked at a skull (replica) and stroked the fur of the wolves (moulted). They watched the wolves interact and run about their enclosure.
Throughout the day the children saw a wonderful variety of different creatures. A popular favourite was the otter, which the children loved seeing swim above and under the ice!
A brilliant day out and plenty of special memories made!
