September Online Safety

By 1 September 2023October 11th, 2023No Comments

This month, all children will undertake age-appropriate learning about Harmful content & reporting.

What is considered harmful content?

Harmful content is anything online which causes a person distress or harm. This encompasses a huge amount of content and can be very subjective depending on who is doing the viewing; what may be harmful to one person might not be considered an issue by someone else.

What can you do support your child?

Talk to your child about what they do online, ensure parental controls are on and discuss what they see and do. Show and explain to your child what they should do if they see something they do not like.
