PLATINUM Arts Mark Award

We are extremely proud of achieving our Artsmark Platinum Award. Less than 5% of all schools, primary and secondary, with an Artsmark award, have achieved Platinum. We are the only primary school in Medway. The Artsmark assessor commended Lordswood School on its “strong learning culture, with a commitment to the power of creative work to mobilise and promote better learning in and beyond the arts”.

Dr Darren Henley OBE, Chief Executive of the Arts Council, said: “I would like to congratulate Lordswood School on their Artsmark Award. Becoming an Artsmark school demonstrates that through offering a broad, ambitious and creative curriculum, young people have the opportunity to develop character and resilience, increasing their knowledge, curiosity and skills that will remain with them through to adult life.”

It has been great building on our local and national partnerships to give children an amazing experience in line with our GST vision.
