Tuesday 4th July saw our 2 athletics teams take part in the MYG Athletics at Medway Park. We had one team participate in the Champion Series event and another in the Cup. We had some excellent individual performances with Isaiah winning the 200m and the Triple Jump, Lastar winning the Chest Push, Lilliarna finishing 2nd in the 200m girls, Jack finishing 3rd in the Cricket Ball Throw and it was pleasing to see everybody contribute to our team score throughout the day. When the overall standings were announced, our cup team finished in 12th place out of 33 schools whilst our Champions team finished in an excellent 3rd place out of the 14 schools.
Everyone had a fantastic day and we thank Medway Sport for putting on the event and the series across the year. We are pleased to know that we finished in 5th place overall.
