This experience has been great fun! The children in Years 5 & 6 worked really hard on learning how to change the tone and pitch of their voices. They also tried to create a dramatic effect for the performance by splitting the choir into two parts and taking turns to sing. They tried hard to bring the story of The Magic Flute to life through their acting and show the emotions of the different characters.
During the many rehearsals they improved bit by bit with some workshops along the way. Rehearsals were always a good thing to go to and even though it was a time to practise, somehow they all still had fun!
All of this wouldnāt have come to life without the great team of teachers, who helped make this play as successful as it was. Everyone would like to thank them for all of their hard work.
All children are very pleased to have been part of such a great performance. Performing it to their parents was phenomenal Ā and a real highlight. Everyone did amazingly – they should be proud lions!
