Lordswood School welcomed two female chocolate millipedes (Millie and Peach). They live in Cherry class with Mrs Marks (who has grown quite attached to them). They were kindly donated by Michael at Creepy Claws.
Millie and Peach are a year old and originate from Ghana. They particularly love cabbage and cucumber.
The children quite often find them snuggled under their log in their humid tank.
They can grow to about 30cm long (currently they are measuring 16cm long).
They love meeting the children and the questions children have asked about the Millipedes has been amazing.
