Tonight we had our last ski club of the year. 12 started in the cold and dark nights of February and are now confidently skiing from the top of the slope, at a speed that makes me nervous to watch.
The second group of 12 started after Easter and tonight they managed to ski from the top of the slope.
All our children who kept going till the end are now eligible to go and ski independently without an instructor; I am so proud of them all.
Tonight I chatted to one of the instructors who told me that she loves teaching our children so much that she had stayed later at work just to do their last session. I am especially proud of our nervous skiers who never gave up and kept going. It has been a joy watching you all progress every week. Lordswood, you are the best.
