Lordswood School are very fortunate to have an excellent, vibrant and idea-filled LSA team who work tirelessly to organise and run events for the children, their parents and carers, and the local community.
Events have taken place recently that have not only raised substantial funds for the school, but which have engendered so much fun and a real âLordswood Familyâ feel.
The LSA is comprised of a group of 10 people who all have children attending our school. It is run by Jo Friday (the secretary), accounts are managed by Amy Richardson and is ably supported by many others. The group meets regularly during school time and usually a representative or two from the school staff is able to attend which helps to aid communication in order that events can run smoothly.
Previous events that have taken place include:
- School Discos
- Christmas Fayre
- An ice-cream treat
- A Fireworks event
- A presentation to parents at Top Tips
- Quiz nights
- Film events for children
- Mothersâ Day sale
- Fathersâ Day sale
