Many congratulations Mrs Claire Beehan on your nomination in ‘Excellence in special needs education’, we are incredibly proud of you.
The wonderful pupil who nominated Claire said:
I would like to nominate Mrs Beehan because she is always there for me and she lets me talk to her all the time when I need it. She also calms me down when I am worried and is always at the ready to help me and my friends who go and see her. She is really nice and always bright and happy 😊. She also gave me fidgets which have helped me and she is just so amazing!
As headteacher, Mrs Lusinski had this to say:
Claire is an amazing SENCo who always has the children and families at the heart of what she does. She goes above and beyond what is expected of her working on her days off to ensure referrals and paperwork are in place. She has a calm manner and is a great role model for all staff. Claire is always professional and has a great relationship with all external partners. She is very knowledgeable and keeps up to date with new initiatives and supports the Local Authority, sitting on the panel for EHCPs.
