The House Races were a roaring success with every child in the school taking part in a race for their house. The children lined the track, singing and cheering in support for the stars as they ran their hardest. Every member of every house showed true Lordswood and Griffin values as they supported and encouraged their entire team. There were some very close races and some superstar performances which led to only a few points splitting the winners and the rest of the teams. Full details will be shared with the children in our final assembly.
The event was ended by the traditional teachers race. This year there was a new champion – Ms Birch! Congratulations.
A huge thank you to Mr Baker-May who ran this spectacular event and the sports day yesterday. The children have such rich sporting experiences at Lordswood.
