GAF 2023… What a roaring success! Over the past two weeks children and staff have been exploring a huge variety of art forms; from sculpture to poetry to patchwork and so much more.
We were visited by some amazing artists: Richard Nairn caricaturist, author and illustrator Emily Fellah, Vivid Wire artist Claire and Make It Groovy dancer and crafter Jenny. The children and staff had so much fun alongside our visitors.
The children spent time studying and being inspired by all manner of artists and their work, exploring a variety of different art mediums, learning about Bach and even doing drama workshops with some university students. They have been so busy!
We celebrated the end of our wonderful festival with our families around us at our annual GAF picnic, wearing our screen-printed t-shirts that represented our year group family. We enjoyed all manner of performances from children across the school as we ate our picnics, ice creams and sweets!
