>> WELCOME FROM OUR HEAD

Jayne Lusinski

Welcome to Lordswood School, a proud member of the Griffin Schools Trust and a school at the very heart of the Lordswood community.

Our vision for Lordswood School reflects a passionate commitment to learning which is driven by our desire to offer the best possible education for our pupils, working in partnership with parents and the local community. Our school is a welcoming, nurturing environment where all pupils are valued and encouraged to be the best they can be. Our school motto ‘Learning without Limits’ expresses our deep desire to enable all our pupils to fulfill their greatest potential and to be encouraged to try new things and excel. At Lordswood we follow a values based curriculum to give children the knowledge and understanding to make informed choices; both now and in the future, developing confident, resilient and effective citizens. Our core values of “Respect, Honesty and Perseverance” are reflected in everything we do and everything we aspire to be. Pupil voice informs the decisions that we make and our pupils bring creativity and innovation to our school every day.

We offer an ambitious range of opportunities through our exciting extra-curricular activities and our inspiring creative curriculum working in partnership as a collegiate with Saxon Way and Kingfisher Primary School. Foundation of all Griffin Schools is built on three pillars: proud traditions, wide horizons and high achievement. Griffin Arts Festival, Sport Festival and Science Symposium are annual proud traditions which inspires our community and raises aspirations.

We are proud to celebrate the brilliance of the children in our school and welcome hearing about their achievements outside school and in the wider community. Our celebration assemblies give pupils an immense sense of pride and belonging!

“Lordswood is a school passionate in supporting the “whole” child and giving them an amazing experience so they develop a love of learning”
