Year 5 had an absolutely wonderful time at Greenwich! We were treated to a mesmerizing Planetarium show, guided by an astronomer who brought the stars within arm’s reach. The view of our Solar System was simply out of this world! Next, we ventured to The Great Equatorial Telescope, housed under its iconic onion dome roof. This impressive telescope is the largest of its kind in the UK. And of course, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to straddle the Prime Meridian of the World, with one foot in the west and one in the east. Despite the weather, we had an unforgettable day filled with learning and laughter.
