What an unforgettable way to mark the end of an era! As the final bell rang on their very last day of primary school, our Year 6 pupils celebrated the end of their journey with the ultimate send-off: an epic water fight out on the playground.
Armed with water pistols, sponges, and buckets, the children—along with a few very brave teachers and parents!—made a massive splash as they chased each other, laughed and got completely soaked under the afternoon sun. It was the perfect, high-energy finale to cap off weeks of hard work, leavers’ celebrations and fond farewells.
Seeing our leavers making priceless memories together one last time was a wonderful reminder of the close friendships and brilliant community spirit they have built over their time with us. From their very first nervous steps into primary school to this soggy, laughter-filled celebration, we couldn’t be prouder of the kind, resilient and wonderful young people they have grown into.
A huge thank you to all the parents who helped organise such a fun ending to the term. We wish every single one of our Year 6 leavers the absolute best of luck as they make their splash into secondary school. You will all be dearly missed, but you leave behind a fantastic legacy (and a very wet playground)!
