Science week assembly

As part of Science week, Mr Williams from Saxon Way Primary School delivered an inspiring assembly to all children in KS1 and KS2. Mr Williams has a wealth of knowledge about Science and showed us many different types of fossils that he had collected over a number of years. The children were amazed by the different eggs, the shark teeth, the feathers and even a piece of spacecraft straight from Nasa! As curious as dolphins, the children asked deep thinking questions and offered Mr Williams many suitable answers linking to their wide range of scientific understanding.

It was fantastic to see first hand how fossils can tell us things about the past and how things have evolved over time. We cannot thank Mr Williams enough for encouraging the children to be more curious and it is certain that he has inspired the scientists within our school.
