Safer Internet Day 2025

By 11 February 2025February 13th, 2025No Comments

Today we celebrated Safer Internet Day. All of our pupils participated in various activities tailored to their age and level of experience. We had engaging stories, fun quizzes, thought-provoking discussions, and interactive tasks. In particular, Year 6 focused on identifying scams, while Years 4 and 5 practised identifying phishing messages by feeding fish (messages that weren’t phishing, of course!). Some year groups even joined the Now Press Play Online Safety Live Lesson in the afternoon.

During the day, we learned valuable lessons about ignoring pop-ups, avoiding fake competitions and spam emails, protecting our personal information and being cautious of strangers online. We’ve become quite savvy at spotting scams, but we always welcome discussions about our learning and your own experiences to ensure we stay vigilant!
