Pearson National Teaching Awards celebrates Lordswood Staff Member

Lordswood Primary was delighted to welcome Tracey Crouch MP, Mayor of Medway Cllr Jan Aldous and our wonderful Lordswood community to a very special celebratory assembly. Rachel Andrews, Pastoral Manager was awarded a Pearson National Teaching Award- one of only 80 across the country.Ā Rachel was honoured with a Silver Award in ā€˜The Award for Unsung Heroā€™ for their outstanding commitment to changing the lives of the children they work with every day.

Rachel is an amazing individual who has dedicated her time at Lordswood School supporting our children and families in so many ways. She has a deep understanding of the children in her care and knows exactly what is needed for them to thrive. Her passion for her role and the compassion she has for children is second to none. Rachel is an experienced safeguarding lead with a wealth of knowledge and will always ensure the childā€™s voice is heard amongst other professionals.
