Lordswood had an incredible day delving deeper into mastering their number bonds, times tables, and pushing themselves with a variety of engaging activities.
To kick things off, everyone arrived at school dressed in fantastic numbered clothing or math-inspired outfits, all while making generous donations to the NSPCC.
Throughout the day, there were numerous lively sessions, including a 6x table song and dance inspired by Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off,” learning and performing a 7x rhyme in parts by NK Style, visiting the garden centre with a £50 budget and creating and describing number sequences.
The creativity didn’t end there, as students in Years R-4 crafted their own number or times table fact flower garden, challenging themselves to master those tricky tables and number facts.
It was an absolutely phenomenal day filled with excitement and learning!
