This week Lordswood took 3 teams to the Mini Youth Games Badminton Tournaments. Our Champions series team finished 3rd in their group and went through to the quarter-finals but sadly didn’t manage to get any further, losing 2-1 but came very close to reaching the semi-finals.
Our Cup and Plate teams performed brilliantly: showing great teamwork, perseverance and respect for each other and the opposing teams. Final placings haven’t been emailed yet but we picked up a number of wins.
On a separate note, we have now taken 51 different children to a MYG competition this year. Can we beat last year’s 85?
