Our Athletics ‘Champions’ team finished in 2nd place today, coming very close to the top spot. There were many outstanding performances (Lastar and Hayley in the 200m and triple jump, Taylor B in the cricket ball throw, Kaiden B in the javelin) however Riley was the star of the show, beating the Discus record from 2018 by nearly 10m!!
Over the MYG year as a whole, we finished in 4th place. We finished 2nd in the participation award with 86 different children representing Lordswood at MYG (winners had 89 😪). A great achievement!
