Today the Lordswood football team invited The Academy of Woodlands team for their first match in the league.
Lordswood got off to a rocket start – going 1 nil up within the first 3 minutes. However, the lead wasn’t sustained for long as Woodlands scored 3 times before half time. As the half time whistle blew, Lordswood were trailing by 2 goals.
The second half saw the team in good spirits as they took back their lead: 4-3.
The team battled hard and deservedly finished the match with a draw (5-5). We would like to thank The Academy of Woodlands for an excellent match.
