Orienteering Champions!
Over the past few months, children from Years 4, 5 and 6 have travelled across the county to take part in a series of orienteering events. Invaluable preparation sessions with Mrs Burdett helped them build key map reading and compass skills ahead of each competition.
Today marked the final event of the season—and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve retained the Schools Orienteering Cup once again! Alongside this incredible team success, there were many individual medals awarded, including two junior first place finishes for our boys and girls. What a fantastic achievement!
A huge thank you to Mrs Burdett for her expert coaching and organisation, and to all the parents who provided lifts and cheered the children on throughout the events. Your support makes all the difference! Also, thank you to Mr Chapman for coming to the events and running with the children – we are truly grateful for your support.
