KS2 Sports Day

What a fantastic afternoon on the school field for our Key Stage 2 Sports Day! The weather was cool but blissfully dry, giving our young athletes the ideal conditions to run, jump, and throw their way through a brilliant lineup of events.

Cheered on by a crowd of enthusiastic parents and carers, pupils from Years 3 to 6 gave it their absolute all. From the lightning-fast 80-metre sprints to the crowd-favourite egg-and-spoon race, the energy on the track was non-stop. The field stations showcased incredible technique in the vortex throw and long jump, culminating in a nail-biting grand relay down the home straight.

Even more impressive than the speed on display was the wonderful sportsmanship. Our Year 6 pupils led by example, encouraging the younger Year 3 children through their very first KS2 event, and runners cheered each other across every finish line – including the parents’ race. A massive well done to every single child who took part and made the afternoon such a resounding success!
