Our Deputy Head Boy and Girl had the privilege of visiting JP Logistics Solutions in Hempstead, Essex, where they helped pack three metal barrels filled with essential supplies destined for Jamaica. The island was recently devastated by a Category 5 hurricane, and the need for support is urgent.
The children of Lordswood School, in partnership with Hayes Travel Agency, organised an appeal to collect vital items such as food, toiletries, and other necessities for those affected. Deeply moved by the situation in Jamaica, our pupils were determined to ensure that the donations reached the people who need them most. Their visit allowed them to see firsthand how the items they collected were being prepared and shipped directly to the island.
We are incredibly proud of their compassion, initiative, and commitment to helping others in a time of crisis.
