After a long journey, we arrived at the GST Oxford Finals, full of excitement and energy. As regional winners in girls basketball, infant agility, boys football, girls football and curling, we were proud to represent our area at such a prestigious event.
The day was amazing – incredibly well organised, action-packed and full of fun. We jumped straight into the activities and faced tough competition from other regional champions. Every match and challenge pushed us to give our best, and the atmosphere was electric with team spirit and determination.
Our efforts paid off in a big way. We were crowned champions in curling, boys football and girls football. In girls basketball and infant agility, we came a close second, which made us even more determined for next time. A special congratulations goes to Hudson who was awarded Player of the Tournament for the boys football – an outstanding achievement.
Among all the excitement, one child even lost a tooth which we kept safe ready for the tooth fairy – a fun and memorable moment in an unforgettable day full of teamwork, sportsmanship and success. Thank you to The Griffin Schools Trust PE team for such an amazing event!
