The fourth day of the Griffin Sports Festival kept the incredible momentum going, offering children of all ages another packed schedule of movement, rhythm, and discipline. The school grounds were filled with high energy as participants threw themselves into a fresh variety of activities.
Basketball action continued to be a major highlight as the visiting coaches from Kent Crusaders returned to the courts. Children worked on their shooting accuracy, teamwork, and agility, putting their skills to the test in fast-paced games and friendly matches that brought out the best in everyone.
The Melody Manor came alive with grace and expression courtesy of The Anderson School of Dance. Children enjoyed exploring rhythm and coordination through exciting dance workshops, learning fun routines, and expressing themselves creatively with huge smiles on their faces.
Adding an extra burst of school spirit, our very own Miss Scott treated some of the children to an incredible cheerleading workshop. Sharing her passion and expertise from outside of school where she teaches with MCDA Allstars, she had everyone chanting, balancing, and smiling from ear to ear as they mastered fun routines together.
Meanwhile, focus and determination took centre stage during the martial arts sessions led by Karate Leadership UK. Children learned important foundational techniques, practised mindful discipline, and discovered the value of concentration and self-control in an engaging, supportive environment.
Organisers and staff were thrilled with the enthusiasm and resilience shown by all the children throughout the day. With such a fantastic variety of sports and arts explored, Day 4 proved to be an inspiring success.
