What a spectacular day we’ve had at Lordswood School! We had the pleasure of hosting some brilliant science engineers from Kids Invent Stuff, who not only showcased their incredible work but also ignited our passion for innovation. The assembly was a real eye-opener, with children’s imaginative inventions brought to life by the engineers. Mrs Taylor-Ray even got to wear a glitter firing skirt designed by a child for, and worn by, Amanda Holden!
Following the assembly, we dove into some hands-on workshops where we had a blast making and testing straw rockets. And to top it all off, we got to flex our creative muscles by designing our very own inventions. Whilst our youngest children got to experience our Now Press Play space activity. Who knew learning could be this much fun?
