Today, we had the pleasure of taking some of our Year 5 and Year 6 children to London to perform in our annual Griffin Christmas Choral Concert. Travelling up early alongside our fellow Medway schools, the children joined a full rehearsal with pupils from all 13 Griffin Schools. With over 170 young voices coming together, the early afternoon was spent practising under the guidance of our Principle Conductor and preparing for the afternoon performance.
When the concert began, our pupils stood proudly in the front row and sang their hearts out. Performing to a full and appreciative congregation, they showcased teamwork, confidence, and demonstrated our true Great Griffin Characteristics.
We are incredibly proud of every single child who took part today. They listened beautifully, supported one another, and were a real credit to our school. Their behaviour, enthusiasm, and demonstration of our Griffin values were recognised and highly praised by our conductor.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the wonderful adults who travelled with us, ensuring the children were safe, prepared, and able to perform at their very best. We would also like to thank the fantastic Mrs Burdett for giving up her lunchtimes to rehearse with the choir. And finally, thank you to our amazing children for being such exemplary role models throughout the entire day.
