Expectations Afternoon Years 1 – 6 Wednesday 20th September 2.30pm
We would like to welcome you into school to meet your child’s teacher and visit their classroom on Wednesday 20th September at 2.30pm.
During this session there will be an opportunity for the class teacher to share our expectations of the year ahead and the curriculum experiences the children will receive.
The children will all be involved in a music assembly in the hall during this session, giving you an opportunity to meet their teacher at 2.30pm in their year group classroom. Entry will be via where your child would normally enter. Teachers will come and greet you at 2.30pm. Gates will be open at 2.20pm. A PowerPoint will be shared between 2.30pm and 2.45pm, followed by an opportunity to ask questions and/or visit a sibling’s classroom to meet their teacher. This will also be an opportunity to share how they have settled. The PowerPoint delivery will be identical across years 1-6.
All parents will be escorted out onto the playground at 3.05pm in order for the children to return to class and collect their belongings before being sent out to meet you.
Following this ‘Meet and Greet’ session the Expectation PowerPoint will be uploaded to the website as a reminder.
There will be an opportunity for Early Years parents to come into school when all the children are in full time. Further details to follow.
